Delivering road safety campaigns
Road Safety First
As a leading Personal Injury Solicitor with over 25 years of experience at Claim Today (established in 1999), I’ve helped countless individuals injured in road accidents secure the compensation they deserve. Witnessing the devastation firsthand has fueled my passion for road safety and advocating for a safer driving environment for everyone.
Young Drivers
Young drivers are more likely to be involved in fatal crashes than older drivers, and speeding is one of the main factors contributing to this. In the UK, young drivers aged 17-24 are four times more likely to be killed or seriously injured in a road crash than drivers aged 25 or over
Peer Pressure
a road safety charity in the UK, found that 8 in 10 young men agree that it is unacceptable to drive over the legal limit. However, the same study also found that almost a third of young men say they would feel uncomfortable asking a friend not to drink when they were driving.
Cycling Safety
Drivers who are not aware of cyclists. This is one of the biggest hazards for cyclists. Drivers may not be looking out for cyclists, or they may not be aware of their blind spots. This can lead to accidents, especially when cyclists are turning or changing lanes.
Claim Today Support Project Edward Road Safety
DS Bal, Director of Claim Today, met with Project Edward team members in Birmingham City Centre to support their road safety message.
Why Road Safety Education is Needed
Following road safety rules is important for pedestrians because it can help to prevent accidents. Pedestrians are more vulnerable than drivers in the event of a crash, so it is important to take steps to protect yourself.
